Greetings WACO Nation!

It is my honor as the new Superintendent of the Washington County School District to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. I want to publicly thank the Washington County Board of Education members for granting me this opportunity to serve my community in this capacity. The Board members and I truly understand that in order for the school system to be successful, we must have strong partnerships with all stakeholders. We must all work together and share the responsibility for our children’s success. It is our duty as educators, parents, and community stakeholders to ensure that every child in Washington County has access to a rigorous, equitable education. It is also our duty to ensure that this educational experience takes place in a safe, secure, and inviting environment.

As your new superintendent, it is extremely important to me that all students achieve at their highest level. It is vital that we continue to provide the children of this community with the skills, knowledge, and training they need to be productive, well-rounded, global citizens. It is important to the Washington County School District that we continue in our quest to develop the whole child. It is our continued mission for all students to excel in Academics, Arts, and Athletics. Your support, encouragement, and input is necessary so that the students of this county will reach their full potential in student achievement and student performance.
